The Purist's Preference.

Our foremost considerations when designing the Redwood 29er were comfort and simplicity.

Like the other Zion frames, the suite of braze-ons allow for any kind of braking system you prefer, and the long chain stays guarantee a comfortable ride. We’ve also optimised the frame for a standard fork. Hammering trails on a single speed can be hard work - with the Van Nicholas Single Speed we’ve made it easy.

Get dirty, but keep it clean.

The Zion Rohloff geometry has been designed like the standard Zion to deal with a variety of off-road riding, with the added advantage of the award-winning Rohloff hub.

The frame is optimised for 100mm travel forks, and the suite of braze-ons means the Zion can easily be adapted for touring. You can’t get rid of the dirt in dirt-tracks but with this ultra-smooth, ultra-slick enclosed 14-gear option you can cut down on the post-ride clean up. So you can hit the trails hard, but still enjoy the easy life.

The Tuareg geometry has been created to enhance single-track handling, as well as provide a degree of comfort not usually found in MTB frames.

Comparatively short chain stays give great climbing and traction, whilst the tubing profiles are designed to soak up the trail buzz that makes rival hard tails tiring. The Tuareg is a high-spec performance bike for the fast-paced, cross-country rider - this bike is built to hammer trails.
